| 30.06.2026 | Status of planting equipment updates – heat protection measures Work on the plant hardware is progressing and will be finished in the coming days. While the plant lighting upgrade has already been completed, experimental cooling measures for the nutrient solution are now being installed. The recent heatwave highlights the immediate need for such measures, which are also essential in hot, arid regions on Earth. Our experimental setup employs four cooling methods that we intend to test both individually and in combination:

| 24.06.2026 | Revision of our planting equipment Valuable insights have already been gained from the trials with our hydroponics setup. Having already implemented initial improvements while the trials were underway, we now intend to proceed with upcoming optimizations regarding nutrient solution preparation, lighting, and plant selection. To carry out this work, certain components will be switched off for a few days. The hydroponics system will be restarted next week, allowing plant development under optimized conditions to be monitored as usual. |

In line with our commitment to providing comprehensive support in exploration, crisis, and remote locations, a local Meshtastic node has been put into operation.This technology enables the free and unrestricted transmission and reception of messages and data over very long distances, without requiring a mobile network or internet connection. We thus provide a reliable intermediary service and can even utilize this form of communication ourselves, powered by solar energy. |

Our facility is designed to test fundamental habitat technologies and expand general knowledge about exploration, crisis, and supply habitats. | 18.04.2026 | Our activities in the research container have begun! A wonderful Saturday filled with activities has come to an end, and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the members involved. The first test run of our hardware is complete and has provided us with initial ideas for improvement. With the final optimizations, it will be possible in the coming days to observe the first experimental plantings via the telemetry display in our members' area. |

The research groups now formed can thus develop optimal solutions for their respective fields. Our results will be published on the detail pages of our themes list as soon as they are available. |
| 04.03.2026 | Mission completed: Registration in the register of associations finalized After a year of preparation, GraviHAB e. V. is now officially registered as association. Being able to operate as an independent legal entity allows us to optimally organize our research projects and information events, which as core aspects of our work we have already begun. |
